All Bagster Bags Must Be:
- Placed on your property.
- Placed at least 5 ft away from any structure or vehicle.
- Be clear of any overhead wires, trees, or structures.
Your Bagster bag must be at least 5 ft from any structures, fences, trees, vehicles, or other objects that may obstruct collection or be damaged during collection. Your Bagster bag must not be placed under any wires, trees, or overhead structures that may obstruct collection or be damaged during collection. The Bagster truck needs at least 18 feet of vertical clearance to operate. Waste Management will pick up your Bagster bag with a large truck mounted with an overhead crane that can reach up to 16 feet (two Bagster bag lengths) from the edge of the street, alley, or driveway. The center of your Bagster bag must be placed on your yard or driveway no further than 16 feet (two Bagster bag lengths) from the edge of the street, alley, or driveway.
KEEPING THE COLLECTION TRUCK ON THE STREET: The center of the Bagster bag must be placed on your property no further than 16 feet (two Bagster bag lengths) from the edge of the street.
DRIVING THE COLLECTION TRUCK ONTO YOUR DRIVEWAY: A signed damage waiver is required. If you require the truck to drive onto your driveway for collection, you must sign the damage waiver attached to the Bagster bag. Please seal the signed damage waiver in a plastic bag and attach it to the outside of your Bagster bag for collection. Your driveway must be at least 12-feet wide to accommodate the collection truck. The center of the Bagster bag must be placed on your property no further than 16 feet (two Bagster bag lengths) from any point on your driveway. To view and print the Damage Waiver, choose United States or Canada.
KEEPING THE COLLECTION TRUCK IN THE ALLEY: The center of the Bagster bag must be placed on your property no further than 16 feet (two Bagster bag lengths) from the alley. (NOTE: Collection trucks cannot turn into a driveway from an alley. Your Bagster bag must be accessible from the alley.).
Your Bagster bag must be placed on your property only — not on public sidewalks, streets or other public property. Fences: The crane on our collection vehicles can reach over a 5 ft fence (no privacy fences). The fence must be within 5 ft of the street, alley, or driveway. The Bagster bag must be placed no further than 16 feet from the street, alley, or driveway. Our drivers must have access to the Bagster bag through a gate or fence opening. If you live in a community with an HOA, we recommend checking with your HOA before filling the bag. Waste Management Bagster operates on a three-business day collection window.
Once you have started filling your Bagster bag, do not move it. Dragging your Bagster bag can cause damage and weaken the Bagster bag. If your Bagster bag is damaged, Waste Management may not be able to collect your Bagster bag and additional fees will apply.
